Herro dear friends,

Today is BlahDay, that follows between a productive day and a day that you're really regretting before it comes and dreading it while it's happening. Why - I'm not so sure, but that's just the way it feels at the moment. Sarah and I are sitting with dual laptops running on the couch, trying to fight off the tunnel-vision from the vibrant lights in the other room and only the clackety-clack sound of spinning laundry to nullify random huffs of frustration from my wife and her lack of computer savvy. Ha.

I'll get hit for writing this, but C'est la Vie, right? Lol. Right.

Earlier she was watching something about a small town city being rocked to the foundational core by a murder/rape of a little girl and how it was linked to drugs. Blahblah, truth be told, it hadn't a damn thing to do with drugs, but what really was jacked up, was the culprit was just some douche bag who was bored and jacked up in the head, who decided to do it and then kill her. He even had kids of his own!

So what spurred this blog was the necessity of vigilantes and why they're aren't more. Comic books and movies always portray some off-kilter playboy or nothing-to-lose hard ass that decides to take matters into his(or her) own hands 'Kick-Ass' style. Batman style. 'Enough' style. Someone brings someone else to justice, and the police, the Feds, or any other sort of Fuzz aren't involved except to ask questions and 'open-mouth insert donut'.

When the program we were watching was finished, the guy was locked up in prison for "sexually assaulting" a ten year old girl and then killing her, and all he got was prison time and the inmates pinned him down and tattooed "Katie's Revenge" on his forehead. That made me laugh a little bit, due to the sadness of the story and while my heart goes out to the family -- I would have mounted up with a high-power on some rooftop a few blocks off and put three in him. Head. Chest -- center mass. And groin. And not necessarily in that order.

Why is it that we're so afraid to take the drastic steps to NOT kill people because some lair (slang for Lawyer) set their client up nicely? How can you do less than ten years for killing people anymore? Yet we're willing to send our teens-20s to war to die for this country, for people who aren't directly affecting us right now. Yeah, that's a huge political leap -- but think about it.

The justice system is babying convicts. People's Rights are some moronic organization that says we can't beat or abuse people because they 'have rights,' but I disagree completely.

If you've taken someone else's life and without a doubt, it is proven that you've done this -- I believe you have no rights. If you've killed a child, you deserve to die. If you've killed anyone, chances are -- you deserve to die. Now there are those particularly sketchy cases with self-defense, but I think killing someone should be a minimum of 10 years, no ifs, ans or buts. A life is a valuable thing, because it cannot ever be replaced -- and yet judges let people go after 6 years for murdering someone.

Now, I'm not going to soapbox this, but if we instituted the Life-for-a-Life policy deemed by Congressman-to-be J.A. Newberry, how many of those people would be gone?

And stretching out to tie in another economical problem, what if we took the remainder of those people and had them making products for the U.S. beyond license plates? Give back to the community more.

What about daily beatings? Lol. Bring in some MMA fighters to 'tenderize' the prisoners. Call it a massage?

All I'm getting at is that we're paying more money to put someone who kills little kids in jail than just up and killing them. One might say to me, "Jeff, who are you to make the judgement call on their life?" You know what, I'm nobody. I'm just the average joe who's tired of seeing bullshit like this go down and the government just bending over and being another inmate's bitch. Oh No!

You mean ... the inmates get three square meals a day!? A bed? Work out rooms? Time outside? Visitor calls? Showers? WOW. They can EVEN go to college on tax payer money. Why bother? They fucked up. Chain them to a bed and let them sit/lay there for five years, ten years, whatever. Why do we honestly care?

Where has the Justice gone for the families?

Pedophilia? Rape? Molestation? Murder? Sodomy? Child Pornography?

None of these things are taken seriously by the government and by putting them in jail, you're telling the parents, the family, and everyone who has witnessed the crimes that "sure, they did a bad thing -- let's just lock them up and pay for them, the next fuckin' 20+ years of their life."

No. Fuck that. Kill them and move on. You think it's too expensive to kill someone? Drugs are too expensive? Cause I'm pretty sure a shotgun slug costs less than a dollar. I know for a fact that my dad's WinMag shells are around 2.00 a piece. Maybe 2.50. That's for the higher-up criminals.

To just make it apart of the prison costs, you could add an incinerator to the furnaces and call it a day. Might see a short climb in the heating bill, but it would be one less pathetic excuse for life to exist.

Oh, by the way. Hatemail can be sent to me and I'm totally for the Death Penalty. ;]

Wow -- lol, this is a bit ridiculous but guess what, Roleplayers! Exodyus.net is coming back! Lol. I've finally gained repossession of it after two years of it being out and about, trailing the internet like some dirty little cyber hooker. She's finally come home, back into the loving arms of her nerdy father and admitted where she was wrong.

Like a good father, I couldn't turn her away, so I have given her a new directive and she will be pointed at the forums for right now @ http://exodyus.org -- maybe at some other point in her life, she'll be directed elsewhere. Maybe to the Wiki or something?

What's up people!

Alex (ULTRA) and I have been talking lately about the expansion of Exodyus as a whole. Originally, we started with such a small area and localized plot that it seemed to confined and has begun to die down. Since it has slowed, we've pretty much taken the liberties that we want to now and have began to conform it into a general writing and role playing community.

Before we were limited to Cosanastre, which is completely bad-ass, but it leaves no room for growth. So, once the first Event passed, the world opened up vastly beyond the Southern reaches of Exodyus and now have began to populate an entire world with two people's ideas.

We're looking for more people who want expansion and love to build.

The liberties are all yours for the taking. We have current Arc Plots and Story lines in place right now that deal with a myriad of characters as well as a bunch of quests that just launched and we're trying to beef up for the after-holiday slump!

Anywho -- a bit of a tangent there.

Alex and I were discussing adding new forums to the Writer's Corner, which would allow people to write in specific universe types.

Love Star Wars? Want to set the Plot and DM something? Go for it!

Love Naruto? I know there's tons who do, but don't want to be bothered by a world outside of the status quo for the anime -- we can set it up!

Comics? Marvel? DC? We can make that happen! The sky is the limit. What do you want?

Lately in Exodyus [ a quick review ]

Front A ]
Anomander Traech has sealed the Kingship with his Coronation and seat upon the throne. With King Argast dead and the body missing, Ocelot Royce and Elijah Crow have been charged with high treason for the death of the King and are to be hunted down by all means necessary.

The King's Feast ended tragically, with the felling of the King by some mysterious means and suddenly a rise to power, only to be reared by a rebellious assault that came from Lessertown and it's Underground to overthrow the Kingship, regardless of who held it. It all ended in a bloody massacre, leaving Royce's accomplices to be missing from the action.

Front B ]
Since Anomander's rule had begun, a new figurehead of absolute power has emerged from the shadows. Due to Cosanastre's lock down prior to Traech's rule, the Exodyus World Alliance hasn't ever been seen. Truthfully, they were mentioned in undertones and briefings about the signs and signals one might expect, and nothing more. Centuries, they'd not been seen around the city and it's fortress nature.

Now that the city is expanded, so has returned the EWA, looking to strike up a deal to fortify the city with it's own guards and possibly to create a southern base of operations -- an EWA stronghold under Anomander Traech, if he will have them. But also simple rules of a softer dictatorship, and bettering the living conditions of all peoples.

Front C ]
Smugglers have been found in Central Exodyus, taking on slaves, stealing and thieving from cities and being a rather nasty lot. In their ranks, something has been sniffed out and scene -- a peculiar figure that the EWA have hunted since their existence, however now -- maybe have found anew? It is still unsure and the EWA is hiring for a scouting party or the hunt...

Front D ]
The Valorous Knights of Exodyus have been set in motion once again. Few have been spotted appearing once again in Exodyus. These terrible beings do as a singular master commands, and they never fail. Each harnessing the power of Legendary Armor Sets -- they cleave their way across Exodyus, doing as they please and however they feel fit. Something must be done to stop them...

You should -- take on the challenges at hand. Enjoy your world. Build it. Write it. Create it.

[Exodyus.Org] New System

Hey Roleplayers!

The admins staff at Exodyus bumped our thick heads together and began scheming over this Christmas break about some ideas for the forum and how to direct it into an open-faced world to partake in. The previous system seemed a bit cramped and didn't allow for room of older characters to be transferred over into the Exodyus because of a nerfing effect.

The structure of causing people to start from square one and move through the levels was in fact a great idea, however at Exodyus' current forum-technology level, tracking the experience, post-by-post just grew tedious and we felt that it was time to better the forum with something less complicated and more open ended.

Straight Facts

The new system starts all players on the same Common Power Level. There's three categories: Ability, Ability Status, and Ability Range. Each of these abilities has three categories of it's own that basically define the character in a rather combative sense.

Under A - Ability you have:

Strength
Speed
Stamina

Each of these stats obviously affect how tough a character is, how strong and how fast. At zero, the character is pegged to be averagely average. Average speeds. Average strengths. Nothing special. Nothing beyond the norm. This changes as you add points into the categories.

Under B - Ability Status you have:

Physical
Magical
Mental

Is the character a Psionicist? A Warlock? A Barbarian? Each of the sub-categories offers a honing of an individual talent, unless the character is skilled or fluent in more than one field, making them balanced instead of specialized.

Under C - Ability Range you have:

Close
Mid
Long

These are simply radial zones around your character that are interactive in combat. Obviously a melee user (Physical/Strength) wouldn't want a ton of points in Long Range, because the optimum distance is over twenty meters.

At the start of your character, each is given 30 stat points, PER category (A,B,C). So 10/10/10 would be balanced completely across the sub-categories.

From here, you write your story and your character, complete quests and missions, and work toward your ultimate goal. Somewhere in the middle, you are able to purchase Power Caps in order to add 30 more stat points to each category! Moderate, High Power, and Exodian, of which is something close to godlike.

On top of this, we offer Enchantments to raise your skills in various means. This ends with Power Levels -- the addition of all three Categories added up. Starting characters would have a PL of 90, without enchantments.

A quick update of the Army Life

Well, God blessed it and now -- I'll explain.

For those of you who don't know much about the Army Life or Military Life, you're the last one to know, if you're on the bottom of the totem pole. If you're just a humble Private First Class, like myself -- who's consider something of a bother because you don't lay down like the other stupid privates, because you've got the up-and-ups, then you're especially last to receive information. Lol.

I was talking yesterday evening with a Sergeant First Class (SFC) and a Staff Sergeant (SSG), who are both apart of my platoon's cadre and they'd heard word of this training I'm back in Fort Lee for, to start in February. That set me off and agitated because I was told before exodus (my fingers always try to type exodyus) leave, that class started on Jan. 9th.

So -- the short of it is, I spent most of the morning (after the ridiculous five-six hour piss test) with the National Guard Liaison (no, I'm Reserves but the Reserve Liaison was out) getting this H8 stuff figured out. I also had an issue with my pay, so she was also the person to help out. <3 An awesome lady and I can't express how appreciative I am of her help.

For those of you with a HuH?! look on your face, H8 = Recovery Operations Specialist. It's a school for towing wrecked vehicles. Mike Rowe's Dirty Jobs covered H8 on the 100th episode, if you want to Netflix it to see what I'll be doing.

All in all, we're somewhat back to normal? I still wont get paid -- maybe, until the 15th of January, and haven't been paid since the 8th of December. :( That's sad panda, for sure. I'm broke.

An New[s]berry Update

Life in the Army -- there isn't anything you can really do to prepare for it. Some find that things go oh-so well for them and they get the stuff they need to get where they're going, while others [like myself], seemed to have started their military career on some unknown path, on some unknown road, out in BFE that no one knows how to actually get to -- but that's where they started me.

Basic Combat Training (BCT) was simple. No challenges. No troubles. Pass PT, Pass Basic. It's really as simple as that.

Advanced Individual Training (AIT) was a breeze, thanks to Mr. Brown @ Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. He's one of the best instructors I've ever been privileged to learn under and his teaching style and methods work well with my learning curve and understanding. So, kudos to him!
AIT never needed to be 9-10 weeks long, and for me -- even longer. The only thing they teach you is a days worth of hands-on in certain areas and then "if you have the TM, (manual) you can fix this."

So, I left for block leave on the 18th of December. Drove to my grandparents with Sarah from Ft. Lee, to Iowa, and stayed the night and visited with them, before heading on to Kansas the next day. Good times and wonderful people. Good conversation. Love them tons.

Christmas just didn't feel like Christmas this year. A lot of wild happenings. A lot of sadness. A ton of drama, lol. And all in all, I'm BACK in Fort Lee now, because I have additional training. Oyie.

Exodyus.Org -- The King's Feast

With the ending of the King's Feast comes the opening of Exodyus as a whole to the outside world. August 17th, 2011, Exodyus.org started with community in mind and that friends could come and write to their hearts content and that we would offer them something in return -- whether it be a place to crash, medals and awards, a good conversation, and some excellent writing opportunities.

Exodyus started with Cosanastre, a city that is medieval in some senses, yet pushes more into the Renaissance boundaries. If you're into gaming, think Assassin's Creed and Game of Thrones lovechild, brought to you by the excellent story-teller and author, Alexander May.

We've started the community small and tightly knit in one city without offering anything else. Forcing them to breath life into this place and live a storyline that is current and present before expanding outward and allowing them to build and develop -- hoping that this would have allowed them to see what we are expecting and what is expected of Exodyus. The growth of the community is prime. It's not so hasty that we have no control, but not slow enough that we cannot progress.

With the King's Feast at an end, due to the change in monarchy -- the laws and land will change drastically, opening Cosanastre to a host of new vendors, technologies, and new races -- unseen on Exodyus until now. Elves have only recently been added. Think Vampires, Werewolves, and Demons -- the usuals, but what's more? Trolls, varied Races throughout all of the ages.

This always seems to help out the ratings of sites that I review, because this is so well scene, I guess? Lol. Something about the name Exodyus seems to always pick up hits and when I write about role play, I can't figure out what happens, but the page views rocket skyward.

So - As you can see, this is Exodyus.Unlimited and beneath this wondrous shell of crazed writers is a new forum; a messageboard for writers, graphic artists, and role players alike -- dubbed Exodyus.Org. The Organization and Community behind Exodyus.Unlimited.

Exodyus.Org is primarily a role playing site which features a new leveling system that Alex (my forum partner) and I threw together with some simplicity in mind to make it so that posts equate experience points -- and that the more you write for that character, the more often you will level.

With bonus experience dolled out for Forum Helpers, Quest Bonuses, and Advertising help, on top of Gold, which will have uses later on down the road -- Character's will level rather swiftly until reaching L.15, where a few more posts are required; onward and upward to Level 30, there are 5 finale ranks to 35, which will allow some character's to supercede their status to something near godlike, anticipating nearly 1100 posts.

Exodyus.Org's world view is that of an everchanging storm. As new players join the fray, they manipulate the face of Cosanastre, the current primary-canon city. This is where the beginning of Exodyus is happening, which will open into new worlds and new races once it is finished.

As brooding community of excellent writers, we would love to have anyone and everyone attend, who is willing to contribute to historical story-book greatness, that might one-day be penned to publish by our very own author, Alex May. <3

Hmm... Army Basic.

Well, I haven't posted in a long while so I figure that I'll throw something out there for everyone to read and be on the same page at once, so that I hopefully don't have to relive this story a million and two times to every Tom, Dick, and Harry that comes walking up and hasn't seen me in ages. Lol.

As most well know, I shipped out on the 31st of May, 2011 for US Army Basic Training. And what an interesting experience it has been. I graduated on the 12th of August, 2011 only to arrive at Ft. Lee, Virgina - from Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, by way of POV (personal car) -- to discover they didn't know who I was and why I was on Ft. Lee. Joyous! Thus begins the lovely, yet insane experience.

I'm apart of the 16th Ordnace Battalion on Ft. Lee as a 91B[ravo] -- better known as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. Apparently Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland and Ft. Jackson are shipping out all of their mechanics to random locations, and a lot of them seem to be winding up in Ft. Lee, in some massive shipping movement. This tends to kick those in AIT presently, or within the past month, straight in the pants because it suddenly put their AIT on hold. Two weeks, four weeks, three days, and five weeks are just a few of the answers I'd recieved from some of the 91B students here, when I asked how much longer they had school for.
The 3 day guys ... they'll start AIT on the 6th of September (like myself), and will graduate roughly ... on the 9th of September, lol. Seriously. It doesn't make any sense to me, but a lot of this stuff doesn't, because my brain is organized and compartmentalized much more efficiently. So basically, the military seems to be wasting money, baby-sitting soldiers and shipping them around in the National Guard and Reserves -- people that should and would be more effectively OFF the payroll at home, until a guaranteed day for classes can be set.

However, this was supposed to be about Basic, wasn't it? Oops -- sidetracked.

Basic in Ft. Jackson was three words: Hot, Disappointing, & Easy.

I'm not going to drop some shit like "Relaxin' Jackson," because while the motto fits some aspects, it doesn't fit them all, which doesn't constitute relaxing. Lol.

Hot: It hit 120* on an index for humidity and temperature one day, over the tar pit (PT pit). Blazing hot and we had to set up our tents in it. On the FTX (Field Training Exercise), we had people falling out left and right because of the heat. I even take credit for getting a guy Ice Sheeted (maybe when he didn't 100% need it...).
[Ice Sheeting is when they take a bed sheet out of a cooler filled with cold water and ice and wrap your body up, to rapidly cool your temperature down to a healthy(?) level, which could ultimately throw someone into shock. Stupid, right?]

Disappointing & Easy: While I expected more out of Basic because of my Prior run-in with the US Air Force, the Army doesn't really put any presidence on maintaining the barracks or bays, they don't care about how the beds are made or how your lockers are organized. This was a HUGE part of the Air Force -- Red Lines. Everyone knows about how strict they are, that is USAF. But not the Army.

Without things like this, discipline seems less demanding. So a bunch of 17 year olds can get away with screwing up/around in the bays, and then trying to 'act' disciplined in formation.

If you can Pass PT before you come into Basic, you can Pass Basic.
It's really that simple. Easy.

The biggest disappointment was watching one of the soldiers in our platoon graduate, when she'd spent the better part of three weeks in Sick Call / TMC (medical). 30% of Basic, untrained. In the hospital. For stupid, lame shit. For whining. Sniveling. Being and acting pathetic and weak, all the damn time. It's the fuckin' Army, and you're going to cry about carrying the same weight everyone else is.

Basic felt almost meaningless when she donned her beret and stood in formation with us during graduation, but not during the ranges. The FTXs. Not the crucial training, but the laziness of those in the Chain didn't bother lifting a finger to stop a shit-bag from entering the Army and probably getting herself and others in her Unit killed one day because she doesn't even know how to utilize SPORTS or call in a 9-Line MedEvac.

So I'm a bit bored of life right now as I come to the end of school and I haven't written for Fantasy or Story in probably about six months it seems like. It's been a damn-long time at that, and I haven't been without writing for this long since I was eleven -- when I first started throwing down pro-storylines. Lol.

On Facebook I posed the question and I came up with three things. I'll re-ask the question once I'm finished with this blog and the next, whenever that comes around because it's a much harder topic -- but Tammy gave me Satyrs and I laughed a bit to myself and decided to go with it.

I started reading around and actually came up with some really interesting stuff. I'm not going to get into the debate of Paganism over Christianity, because regardless of the truth, I believe the Bible is just a book endorsed by God and Jesus came to die for me. With that said, Paganism has been around way longer than Christianity and the proximity of story lineage between the Bible and Lore is all to similar.

Pagan's don't need to doctor their history, because it's literally -- ancient history. Why do Christians feel the need to deliver a cookie-cutter approach to their side of the story? I digress, I want to deviate, but this blog isn't about that. Lol... ugggh.

Satyrs as refered to in the Bible are actually hairy Demon Beasts. And not until the Roman times were they percieved more like half-goat, half-humans. Before that, they were somewhat beastly creatures -- possibly deformed beings, yet extremely hairy in nature. Who knows -- maybe the modern day Wolfman.

Bards often called female Satyrs -- Satyresses. I found this amusing. <3

Depending on the variation you read about or use, they have a weird love of nymphs, wine, and music. With that combination, I cant see how they could ever go wrong, but alas -- these days, we see nothing of the sort so when curiosity killed the cat -- how did all of these stories come to be - then?

These interesting 'male-only' "hairy demons" were originally followers of Pan and Dionysus, and seem to be extremely jolly and on a constant 'ecstasy high' -- so I cant really deem why they were ever considered demons in the first place. It might have something to do with their horns -- as a junior or child satyr will have small stubs, compared to the adult's ram horns.

All in all, this was a pretty fun read. It gets a little more in detail, but the end of the matter is -- myths and legends are usually kisses of truth, tainted. So in the end of it all, what was it really that these people saw that caused them to gawk and cry, "Demon!" In my belief, I think I would compare the Nephilim* to the Satyrs. An enigma of excitement and imagination.

*According to the Bible and Ancient Mythos -- the Nephilim were half-man, half-angels. These are also the supposed reason for the Middle Eastern women to wear head coverings. The angels would fly over and if they saw a woman with beautiful hair, essentially they would fly down and 'take her to bed' and so they began to cover their heads and haven't stopped since. Of course, this is Ancient Mythology speaking -- however in Genesis -- the Nephilim existed...

[Borderlands] Dear Gearbox Software & 2K,

I feel like I'm an auditor and I'm going down the list of problems with a company that they need to address, except I'm not getting paid to do it. I'm a freelance consultant, at this point and I'm just picking up the small pieces and issues and relaying them back to the company as to how I feel the game should play -- to make it more user friendly and acceptable, which in the long term would increase playability and excitement for the upcoming DLCs, etc...

First and foremost, while I don't know what the deal is with Borderlands not supporting their own multiplayer online, why on Earth they chose to go with Gamefly or Gamespy or whatever this crap is -- is beyond me. Why take a bad-ass game and then kick it in the nuts?

It's clunky. It's irritatingly laggy and slow. (And no, I'm running 4gb RAM on Win7, with a Radeon 5770 HD 1gb -- with everything set on high graphics -- pushing a 10/100/1000 gigabit ethernet connection with 1+mb/sec download speeds -- it's not me or my ISP.) The way the game is designed, where you can't cross-quest is understandable, for cheating and getting the same quests over and over again, but it shouldn't mean that one person couldn't finish their quest, and then have someone join who has not done it yet -- and can just immediately help them.

But no -- you have to Exit. Relog with them hosting the game, and then go back to where you were at, etc - etc.

The second thing I'd like to address is the fact that it doesn't even seem like it was ever redesigned for PC. I only play my FPS games on PC. Only. So when I'm running the game and you (as a company), has launched it for PC -- I'd expect it to be ready and playable. The menu's are ridiculously clunky and jacked up. Scrolling is partially handicapped.

For some reason, if you bring in other characters and throw down equipment you want to trade, say - something I found with a Lvl. 20 Hunter, that I want to give to my Lvl. 20 Soldier, and then exchange and come back to the Soldier later -- SURPRISE! ... the equipment is gone. Gone. Talk about pissing someone off. Neither character then has the equipment and I'm out either the money I spent, or the luck I got. Shenanigans, people -- shenanigans.

However -- bad with the good, I will praise you for your awesome randomization of weaponry and the DLC content. I just finished the Claptrap Revolution DLC and I have to say -- after like 6 deaths and 5 million dollars spent on New-U recreations, lmao -- I loved it. It was actually difficult (and a little tedious), but exciting. [Playthrough 2 - Lvl. 52]

I believe the reason you failed long-term for playability is because you taunted the Beta players with the possibilities of 'more' and did not deliver. In the Beta, it was awesome and in sync - you were tempted to hit the higher levels and get the colors and yet when the game launched, the Multi-player was so ... base model Kia...

No excess colors.
No modifications to equips.
No new or downloadable cars. Nothing to win FOR.
You just win, and that's really it.

Set it up like DLC and enable like a $5 purchase for upgrades and/or more cars, newer models, skins, etc --

Windows down and radio up, I had to focus to see through the glare of the sun of the shades that covered my bright blue eyes. The first day of what looked like summer was upon us, peaking a gorgeous fifty-two degrees and it was only December in the middle of Kansas yet! And here I am -- cruising in a beautiful cherry red, Mazda Speed3 running a solid ninety up the large hill beyond the ninety-fifth street exit on Kansas Highway Seven. The day is crisp and clean. Snow still hides in the banks and beneath the bridges from the sun that it loathes so much -- trying to stick it out until reinforcements arrive.

I push hard, stomping the clutch in and pulling the shifter back into fourth gear from third. Releasing the clutch, only reengages my own pistons. The fuel pumping through my veins, my own personal V-8 boiling hot in my chest and roaring with adrenaline and excitement. My foot on the gas pedal seems heavier than ever before and my mind blows clean past the thoughts of danger as the needle passes one hundred and ten miles per hour. The wind howls through the car like a massive turbine engine and barely escapes out the back windows of the hatchback sedan before being thrown to the rear window.

Cresting the hill, I've hit one hundred and fifteen miles per hour and are fast approaching one twenty without hesitation. The car is fast. Insanely fast and I feel as if I'm suctioned to the bucket seat and the leather is molding around me -- as is my face, around the back of my head. Imagine passing a grandma -- a skeleton for a face, and a face on my headrest, which winks oddly at her ... like jello, without muscles. Blue skies all around me. I feel like I've almost taken flight on this crested hill, yet I see only open road in front of me and 87th street is coming up swiftly.

In all my enjoyment, excitement, adrenaline, anxiety, I didn't bother taking into account the parked car on the right side of the road, as I am in the right lane. The split second that I see a parked car on the side of the road, I look for the neon orange tag. This always tells me that it's awaiting pick up -- broken down. But today, there isn't one. The other half of this split second allows my eagle eye to catch the make, model, and description of the vehicle. I've trained these cerulean lady-killers to pick out cops from miles away, and this isn't one.

Gas on! I'm rippling through reality now at one hundred and twenty-five miles per hour as I come up on this car and the door flies open without a thought. It's a Buick. Sedan and the back door had opened to spot a redheaded, freckle-faced little girl hop out -- beyond MY white line.

Without hesitation for my own safety, because I'm being reckless and ignorant, while she has her entire life ahead of her, I swirve. The handling on this car is comparable to a Corvette Z06 -- and these Yokahama tires stick to the ground like snail-snot. Another split second passes and I've successfully swirved to the left, effectively dodging the child, but in my wake, I tried to recorrect and over-compensate. Damn these tires. Passing the right hand lane completely and making it to eighty-seventh street, but not exactly on the off-ramp -- the car lurches into the grass between the off-ramp and the road -- you know the part ... where the bridge starts.

Yeah -- I hit it. And exploded. The car was turned into a smoldering scrap-heap in nearly one second. Not a split this time, because there was one hundred and ninety-five pound sack of meat to hog up a half-second of squishing. In a fireball that was definitely pyrotechnic worthy of a Trans Siberian Orchestra display, with pieces of cherry red shrapnel spraying out like a claymore launched into a pyroclastic cloud of destruction ... this is where my death occurred.

SNAP.

The windows are down and the radio is up. I'm cruising a saucy eighty-five miles an hour and as I crest the hill, I'm terrified. I slow down to the speed limit carefully, which happens to be sixty-five miles per hour and I click on my turn signal, merging into the left lane. I'm shitlessly scared, watching the car in the right lane and at my currently slower speed, I witness the girl get out of the car a half-mile before I arrive this time. She's beautiful with her sun-dress on and sun-kissed face. Her mother -- looking panicked and much like her, gets out to chase her down.

I pass now, alive and staring at the place where I had just died. Or thought I died. Or felt I died. Or believed I was dead...

I suddenly realize -- my life on this planet is short. Out of a million realities, I just died in one. A strand snapped, and my fate was chosen then and there. I'm one less strand away from death... One less strand, and my soul and fate will no longer be intertwined, for I will cease to exist on all planes of existence...

American Idol: ... Chris Medina

For those who read this and know me, know that American Idol is something I usually laugh at and about, but this season I watch it with my family after dinner and what not, on and off, because I'm always doing something around the house -- but this season, a few good people have captured my eye and literally forced me to sit down and listen.

I love music. I love a great voice. I love a great story.

And I've seriously got to say that letting Chris Medina go, was the biggest mistake the judging could have made, and the show lost the entire support of a family in moments for the rest of this entire season.

Think about it like this:

What is an idol, other than something that goes against the Christian religion? Lol. Well, American Role Model was way too long to fit into a title, and the fact that it's a competition, sets the stage for vocal battles. This kid can sing. This kid is THE complete package. A role model. Lol, I call him a kid, like I'm older -- but the point is simple, this guy is inspiring.

I could only pray that our Nation had the patience, love, and honor that Chris has.

I really don't know what more to say. America needs more people LIKE Chris Medina, and less like this Clint Gamboa. Kicking out a little kid from the competition, because he didn't "jive" with what you wanted to do, is basically crushing someone else's dream to reach your own. It's disgusting.

Look at our Nation as it is right now and tell me that you'd rather have some guy who can sing well, and looks like a total fake -- hiding behind ridiculous glasses, over some guy who is completely, 110% genuine. A guy you'd WANT to hang out with, and be around. A guy you'd WANT to be more like. Parents -- want your KIDS to grow up using him as their inspiration or their "want to be like" person.

I'm looking at this as a much larger picture and shaking my head. Someone who will never give back, and never look back to the people he's left behind, versus the guy who opens his arms, and takes the people who he loves and has helped him -- with him.

I'm disappointed in the judgment. I really am.

American Idol is so much bigger than three people making judgments. It's hope for kids across the nation. JC's given kids the hope outside of the box -- he's not the normal profile, but he's good. I enjoy him, but I doubt he'll make the cut because of his age alone. He has years and years to improve and grow. I'd keep him over Clint on the simple fact that if you can back-stab a fifteen year old -- you're just a freakin' creepy soul.

February 22nd is the date we're all awaiting the launch of this killer game, and while the graphics are astonishing and the content is a little crude, the premise of the game is still something that keeps friends playing and mocking each other for who got the highest kill-score.

The game revolves around intense guns that are bizarre in nature and usually have a regular function and an overdrive function to do maximum damage and carnage to your enemies. Like bouncing them into the air, wrapping them in explosive chains, and then on their descent, kicking them off a cliff. The game is hysterically wild. Finding the death-traps is always amusing.

Recently though, the game has come under fire by FOX News, for God knows why. As if they weren't busy enough trashing Obama and his entire campaign (not that I care about this at all; have at it, FOX), now they're attacking video games based on demo content? Sure, it's a Mature Rated game -- but if kids are getting a hold of the game, blame the parents for doing a shitty job at managing their children, NOT the gaming company for making a f#%$ing bad-ass game.

How ignorant is it to blame a company, instead of your "could-be followers?"

In my opinion of the demo, I seriously played it three times straight in a row, because I had about 6-7 360 Live friends who had it also and I beat all of their scores on the third try. Death traps, awesome kill combos, and some advanced teamwork and storyline -- the game is meant for a DeathMatch setting, I think and a full on, Free For All.

The other thing I would like to say to FOX News and even Bulletstorm is this:

- A car doesn't kill people. The driver does.
- A gun doesn't kill people. The shooter does.
- Drugs don't kill someone. An abuser kills himself.

Things like this are common misconceptions that humans will always jump to to place blame.

Parents: If your child is DUMB enough, to use a video game as an excuse to murder, rape, steal cars, or all-in-all be a total moron -- then you've failed to get them the mental treatment that they obviously required and failed them as a parent (if they are older than 18).

How To, with Jeff :: Pill Swallowing

I was that kid who had to chew up the "swallow only" pills. Lol. So take this from me, now I can take down three horse-style pills of Daily Vitamins and Fish Oils at once. Things like this always make me laugh, because I'm twenty-six now and still know people who are older than me, that cannot swallow a pill.

This is the most stress-free way of doing this and I was self-taught, lol.

Take a drink of water. Feel and THINK about how it feels when it's going down your throat. A calm, liquid sensation, right? Especially better if it's cold water. (No Ice, you inexperienced pill poppers, lolol.)

Now toss the pill into your mouth and forget about it being there and drink as if there wasn't anything in your mouth. Concentrate more on the water going in, than the pill that's hidden away in there. Drink the water like you're ridiculously thirst and get a few good gulps in there, as if you were drinking water normally.

That's it! Lol.

The pill will be taken down with the water and you'll not even know that it happened! <3

This always works for me. And still to this day, when I feel hesitant about the nasty, chalky taste of pills when they're bitten into. Bleck! Good luck!

Just Go For It

The newest Adam Sandler film, I wont do my full review on like I usually do, but I will give you the gist.

The movie was seriously, insanely funny. I'm not talking stupid-funny like the Hangover. I'm talking hysterically funny. Some mega-LOLs going on right here. I literally laughed so hard in some of the parts, I pulled a black-man clap and doubled over a bit in my seat. (Yes, I'm allowed to say this as a cracker, because I have black friends who will attest to this.)

The movie's acting was severely -- terrible. Jennifer and Adam looked like they wanted to bust-up laughing in about five or six different shots, which is understandable for what they say -- because it's ridiculously funny. Sarah laughed her face off. I had to clean it up off the floor and the seat.

Excluding and ignoring terrible acting due to over-the-top, extreme-lols -- I give this movie a 9.5.

And let me just end by saying Jennifer Aniston is a freakin' bombshell. Regardless of her idiotic life-dramas in the tabloids, the woman is a fox and any man with a brain and some decency would be more than happy to be with her.

And Brooklyn Decker. ... wow. Just. Wow. Lol. Wow.

Well, you're shit out of luck if you're trying to read off he internet how to drive. Lol. That's about as dumb as Googling how to tell whether you're gay or not.

So it comes to this. Here's a few tips that will keep your ignorant ass out of my way, so that I don't feel like dragging you out of your car and shanking you with something sharp and toothbrush-shaped, prison-style. Lol... No -- really.

1.) God made man. God made them smart. So smart, in fact, that they invented circuits and relays. They invented automobiles and driving rules. And they invented this small little flashing bulb called a TURN SIGNAL. For those of you who flick it on two seconds before merging, you're dumber than the guy who doesn't even use it.
It's called a signal for a REASON -- you're alerting people to your merge.

A.) Turn it on.
B.) Wait about 5-10 seconds. Allow people behind you and beside you to register.
C.) Then Merge.

How hard was that. Really.

2.) Know where you're going -- before you go. It's not that hard to ask. Places like Lackman, I-35, and Quivira off of I-435 are always busy. And during rush hour from 4pm to about 6pm it's hell. So take it slow, USE your turn signal and wait it out until someone lets you in. Use your judgment when merging and be smart about it.

It's Officially, Official! U.S. Army -- Here I come!

I just talked to my Sergeant today, and I'm all good-to-go. All I had to do was weave my way through the Physical and two waivers, and I'm golden! I should be shipping out in late May or early June to Basic Military Training (BMT).

As of right now I don't know what job (MOS: Military Occupation Specialty) I'll be signing up for, because I haven't talked to the guys at MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) yet. I will probably go up there in a week or two and speak with them and get everything put away so that I will be ready to go, come June.

In 2005, I enlisted into the U.S. Air Force and after things went south because of a heart problem, I was "Entry Level Separated" from the military, and that was that. However, I've always really wanted to go in since I was little and figured that I still had a chance. So while under my parents insurance in 2007, I had what is called an SVT ablation. Basically, the best Electrophysiologist in the Midwest, Dr. Loren Barenbom mapped from my femoral veins to my heart, and *BZZZT* a second electrical pathway that was giving me issues.

Since then, I've been smooth sailing! No issues. And I've been pushing myself to the max to see how far I can go. So going back into the military, I tried to go USAF to start, but an Olathe (KS) Branch Enlisted, who will remain nameless, was a total tool and didn't want to assist me in his DOING HIS JOB. He blew me off for three to four months. He tried telling me that I wouldn't get in because it was a "serious heart problem" and I told him he didn't even know what he was talking about.

So, I talked with my Uncle Mike, who's a retired Major in the Army and he told me to go in and talk with them. I did. He threw in his words to them. And I went to processing -- bingo-bango. Here I am! Yay!

I've never-ever had motion sickness before and then last night, I got a wild hair to re-install Half Life 2, because I've never played it all the way through and about an hour into the game, my stomach started to feel queezy and then suddenly, my vision blurred like I was slightly drunk and I had to turn away and focus off screen for a moment.

I've never been motion sick before. Not in car rides. Sitting backwards, looking out the side windows, going 120mph, lol -- never have I been motion sick, until now -- and I think I have to blame my new Graphics Card. For Christmas, I got the 1GB Radeon 5770 HD and I ran everything on high for HL2, as well as FF XIV, Borderlands, and CounterStrike: Source. But man ...

I tried playing a little today with the lights on and all of my settings turned way down ... :[ Sadly, I cannot. This doesn't work. I might try putting everything on Low, and dealing with the craptacular graphics to see if that does anything, but I'm wondering if the over-all fps of the game is affecting me. CS:S didn't bother me for the hour I just played, and that was anywhere from 200~250 fps. Which is insanely high. I think movies are shot at something like 30~60 fps.

Anyways. If anyone has any stories of crappy motion sickness, or a cure for my gaming illness, PLEASE! Lolol. Let me know! It's an awesome game!

So, it's family night last night -- right, and ... that's a lot of -ights, but anyways!

And I'm eatin' chips and watching these people be exceedingly more terrible than the next, and then OMG-A STAR IS BORN. And then the next ten minutes suck. AND ANOTHER STAR IS BORN! AND THIS ONE IS THE BEST WE'VE SEEN SO FAR.

And this goes on for an hour. Seriously. Here's my biggest issue with this, not that it's all organized and shit, but the fact that it goes back and forth is a little annoying. My parents only watch American Idol because of the people who sing so terribly, that they should probably have their lips sewn shut, or force-permanently closed. Think Beetlejuice, rofl.

This REALLY gets me though.

Who in the HELL told you, that you were SO GOOD that you should try out for a PUBLIC BROADCASTING of a singing competition, when you sound like a parrot being raped by a pirate?!

I mean -- wow. Who is the person who hates your life -- SO MUCH, lolol -- that they would tell you such a terrible lie and then send you packing, like you ever stood a chance against the rest of the known world. I mean, damn...

Well, here we go.

First and foremost, I'm joining the Army, I believe and should be shipping out in May/June. I have one last bit that I have to pass through, in order to be finalized with all of this and DEP in, and that's a waiver that allows a prior serviceman to jump branches.

Irritatingly enough, I'm considered prior service, because I have been at least one day in any military branch, however I'm not considered a veteran of the military, because the first time through, I was entry-level-separated (ELS) in BMT (basic). So, lol -- wut?!

Anyways. School starts tomorrow, and I'm thinking I really want to start the upkeep of my blog, so what better time to start than right now. Tomorrow, I'll start the first of three grueling nine hour days at school, Monday through Wednesday. It'll be awesome though, because it's all auto-mechanic classes that I wanted. =D And it's a specialized Ford Star Program. Woot!

It's been a few months since I've dropped in on this and I have to say that it's time once again to give a great shout-out to forums all around me and to let people know, that since my blog-post was such a huge hit with nearly 20,000 pageviews for just that single review, it's obvious that role players are hungry for a place to crash-land and whip out their best stories and plots.

For those who hit this and are curious, Role Playing is simply building a character from scratch, much like a writer would for a book. You give that person a name, clothes, a personality. You develop a small set of class skills and abilities for them to work with in a world based on ____________ [insert world type]. It could be medieval. Fantasy. Lord of the Rings style. Star Wars style. It could be Furries (lycanthropes, wolves). It could be Final Fantasy-esque (Tactics, Job Classes, etc). It could be high-tech. Steam-punk. The worlds in which are developed are so extensive and deep, than you can build and do anything with words.

You are the master of your own domain, as long as you abide by the set rules of the forum, you can become a ruler of plenty, and all you have to do is write it out. Is start small, with nothing -- and become something. Become notorious. Become infamous. Become revered? Well-known? Feared?

First and foremost, my reviews are based on honest experience. I've been writing for role play purposes since I was eleven. That might not mean much to some people, but I was in Yahoo! Chat during the beta Applet iChat in 1994, lol. Started roleplaying solidly in about 1996. From there I developed a family tribe, the Raven's Brand. It expanded from Epoch_Burnside (EpiCentury, lol) to Exodyus in a matter of a few years. From there, I've built a reputation as a solid role player; someone people can count on to be there, but also -- I've made plenty of enemies, lol. Meh. Ces't la vie.

You may claim that this is bias and I'd completely understand that, as Valucre is my home and has been for years now, however it's not without reason and it's not that I didn't try to step off and go elsewhere.
I've been to several different forums in the past six months, and none of them come close to the atmosphere and traffic that Valucre receives. It offers you a place to not deal with tons of bullshit and childish immaturity, while expanding one's own desire for writing with a ton of plots that are opened all the time.
While lately there has been a great influx of "rookie players" who think they don't need help with the basics (and are severely mistaken), the site still remains as the best with the most adaptive and receptive role players of all people who are new to the game.

I have known Eric since the baby-days of RP-G and I have watched the forum grow into the monster that it is today. Being nearly thrice the size of Valucre, RP-G is easily one of the most 'advanced' role play forums on the internet to date. However, that is at the same time a downfall to some, as the endless lists of roleplays that brick-wall you immediately upon checking out their forum can be extensively intimidating, even for a veteran like myself.
In my short stint on RP-G, I felt that it was so big, that I went unnoticed. For nearly three weeks, I dropped in and wrote with myself and never once had anyone come in, or try to play and I fear that it might be a little cliquish, as most larger sites are.

It seems to be the water-rat retreat for Ayenee.com's catastrophic downfall, which needless to say -- is a bad thing for their site, lol. Eric, however, comes with only the highest of recommendations as an individual and admin -- a solid person, but doubtful if you ever catch him on, as busy as he is.

What else is there to say? The original creators of A&E on Yahoo! Chat are probably shaking their heads in shame, for what Rob has done to the forum and finally -- it's over. The site has a grand total of ... like 1 view a day, since their hideous revamp?

Talk about the end-all... Lol. I -- for one -- hate a fixed background and scrolling text. It's the most fucking annoying thing ever. And that's their primary. Eesh... Either way. Good riddens.

I don't think I've ever been to this forum, but upon my initial browse, not only is it ridiculously ugly, it's also extremely unfriendly to wander through. There's ads, which is a huge No-No for me, as well as it's incredibly difficult to navigate.

Currently, 329 RP threads open. O_o;; lolol wow. So, anyways -- for as detailed as it is, it's really ugly and it seems to need a serious face-lift, if it's going to be taken serious. Not to mention, it needs to be user-friendly, or no one will join. It's simple: Easy = Fun and people.

This ... site ... is the biggest clusterfuck of newbs known to man. The site isn't solely dedicated to role play, which makes it an instant turn-off for someone like me who actually enjoys writing MORE than one sentence. These people post one sentence and then claim to be role players. It's a joke to even claim to be a writer at that rate.

Don't get them all riled up either, or they'll join your site and plan clank-tarded take-overs with no effort put into what they're doing.

I'd be willing to say though, it's one of the biggest sites online, and while they boast huge numbers, one writer from Valucre is as good as nearly a hundred of their members combine. And while they have nearly a billion posts, take into account that some of those posts are "She wulkd in" and that's it. Lmfao. Or it's random chatter from one of their hundreds of other forums dedicated to anything-and-everything under the sun.

They do have a ton of members, and a ton of posts, however if everything is simplistic and one-liners, then there isn't really a comparison to a good role playing site and this. However, kudos to them for actually showing up above all the rest in the SEO of Google.

But with a boring background and an ugly logo, tch... whatever they're offering, I can't see it.

I'm disturbed enough as it is -- and I don't need creepy people behind monitors trying to sex me up. I get enough of that in 'REAL LIFE' (hinthint) that I don't need to find a random stranger to write up my boring fantasies with. Wow... seriously...

... yeah, you read it right. The title is based on a very simple, and very short rant. As this is my blog, and I can rant about whatever I want -- tonight, while laughing with Nette, I want to rant about Kim Kardashian, cause she said people will "eat it up."

And while I beg to differ, I decided to try proving her wrong, as there wont be any comments to this blog, or any more people adding me on the simple fact that they don't care. It's not a blog about little children, porn, or ridiculous pictures of people doing creepy things with yarn. That's right -- yarn.

Back to the topic at hand, a woman who sold her soul for a little money and made a booty tape with some guy that doesn't even have a name, most likely -- that or I'm not "in the know" enough to care. Point is, she's trash. Filth. And your daughters are lusting to be her, and you're "cool with that." What the hell.

So she's cute. So is my wife. Frankly, I'd pick Sarah over that bimbo any day, on the simple fact that she has a personality, she's funny, gorgeous, wonderful, caring, and she's not stuck on herself. I mean -- Holy Moley. How much more self-centered can you possibly be?

Hi!

No, that's not just it. Lol. Currently, Sarah and I are doing great. She got a job at Shawnee Mission Medical Center and she's almost-almost finished with orientation, but she's braving out the next few weeks as she's learning and orienting heavily with a series of intense 12-hour days. D= !! Yeah, like 2, break, 3 in a row. It's craziness, but she's enjoying working again and being the bread-winner.

As most well know, I'm back to being jobless because the people I was working with obviously fell through with the Remodeling and Granite industry, but that's as to be expected it seems because after all, we're human. We do what's best for us and what's best for our business in order to make money, and kick aside the words we offer and the things we 'say' we'll be doing.

But, I'm much happier outside of this and I'm working for UPS part time. I'm not getting cussed at for someone elses mistakes, and I'm not getting mistreated by my boss and the people I work with any longer, so I'm all well. Besides, they're dealing with the Department of Labor right now anyways because they jacked my pay after I quit. =/

Anywho. Life's swell. God's great. And we continue on as we always have. I'll try to maintain a weekly update to give a heads up as to what's new/going on.

Ever feel like you were called to do something -- and it seemed like it was a slap in the face and your invisible best friend saying, DUDE. NOW -- I said now. Now. NOW? HOWABOUT-NOW! NOW. NOW?! HELLONOW.

That's a lot of Now's, I know, but I'm still trying to figure out exactly what it is that I'm supposed to be doing. With each "Now" is me taking a step in a different direction. Maybe closer, maybe further away -- but the entire time, I'm wandering blindly with my hands out and I'm finding sharp shit to walk into, it seems. And now that I'm all bloody footed and handed, I'm stumbling into some small realization.

I keep getting this feeling like I'm supposed to be doing something. Something serious. Something important. Something that I was called to do, in my heart and soul, but I can't figure out exactly how to get past this thin membrane that seems to be locking me into place -- stopping me from from going any farther, but I need to be beyond it. And it's a simple thought. A with an enormous ripple and task.

Ha. So. Mac Powell is the lead singer of a bad called Third Day. He's sick. His voice is amazing. His message is clear and awesome. And he's totally a down-to-earth kinda guy. He'll stand on stage, strumming a soft tune on the acoustic guitar while just talking to the crowd about whatever. He genuinely seems like a great guy.

In my 'vision' if you will -- my thought process? No... it wasn't even mine. You know how I know? I cried. Like a baby, lolol -- while driving down the road as this was put into my head.

I'm on stage. I'm standing before ... literally thousands of people. And I'm merely introducing myself to everyone, and thanking them for coming. I'm excited for all of them to be here and I'm so blessed to all the churches that have participated in this. This event is special. It's divinely organized. God -- Himself, had to have a hand in this, because no mortal man could have gained the sheer amounts of people.

This sea of people stretches as far as you can see. Through the park. People are sitting up in trees. They're lined all-the-way-back to the sideway, nearly a half-mile away and easily that wide. They're all happy, but more importantly -- they're doing what they believe is right and what God has placed in their hearts.

This vision was absolutely crazy. And here's the crazier part. I feel like I'm supposed to organize this. I feel like ... God has called me to Unify His Body. His ... Bride is so abused and beat up. She's so stretched out and broken apart into different churches across the nation, that we have 3-4 churches per block, because of some ridiculous human error. But God has called them back to him now ... and I don't know how to do this. Lol...I'm overwhelmed with my thoughts, but I'm also simply floating. Floating without an intact job. Floating because I really don't know how or what to do with myself to make this happen. And I'm merely thinking more and more about how to get it done.

I'm merely blogging this because it's so fresh in my mind and it's been months, since the vision and I'm still where I started and he's yelling NOW? NOW?!! Lol...

Frankly, I hate it.

Where to begin, as this might end in a massive rant about how unnamed people are being total douche bags. I'm seriously about to just up and quit. I can do exactly what I do on my own, for more money without some explicit tool yelling at me and telling me what to do, cussing at me, belittling me in front of whomever he feels like -- just because he's failing at running his own business.

This is how my week played out. I knew we were low on money; on a single income family of two, we're always low on money, but God provides as my Jehova Jireh (My Provider) so we're always afloat it seems -- as miraculous as it does, sometimes. Lol.

So we're low on funds, but we're going down to the lake for Labor Day weekend -- Sarah (wife's)'s brother's last HooRah before joining the Military this weekend. And then from Stockton Lake we drove to Nauvoo, IL for a family reunion, which is for my Dad's side. I sayz: Okay, we have enough -- this is where everything goes and we'll make it. I just need my check and we're set.

Ha.

TEN DAYS PRIOR: I gave the Chiropractor (for Sarah) my debit card number to run a 65 dollar fee, and ... it didn't come out until eight days later. I'm not thinking anything about it, because I figured it was already run --

FAST FORWARD - PRESENT: So, the Chiro bill comes out, knocks us 65 short. I used the card one time extra, for gas on the trip down, so we have 670 in the account and rent is 689. Ha.

I asked Boss for my check and he says, "We change bank. Other no good." (Literally, he's chinese.)

So I didn't get my check for 2 weeks and hit a negative balance, all because WHY?!

The REASON they changed banks at my work (chinese owned) -- is because they OWE MONEY TO A SIGN COMPANY AND DON'T WANT TO PAY THEM FOR SOME STUPID REASON. So I'M WITHOUT A CHECK -- BECAUSE MY COMPANY IS STUPID.

The SAME thing happens when a customer complains about something and holds a check for our company until we fix something, except now we're doing it to someone else -- which the boss hates furiously. I mean, POT meet KETTLE.

That's just ONE reason of several that I hate work currently and I'm looking for an alternative source. If anyone's hiring for someone with excellent work experience in customer service and sales, I'm all ears. <3

Okay, how do you go through life as a kid, then a teen, and then a young adult to find yourself at twenty-six and your eyes are so dry, but they're watering like crazy and your nose is so stuffed up, filled with a never-ending supply of mucus, snot, goobers, and whatever other runny snot-blood concoctions you can conjure from each nostril -- and NEVER HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH ALLERGIES BEFORE.

My eyes are dry, itchy, painfully itchy -- but watering constantly, ~~oozing~~ -- no, pouring out water like I'm bleeding out. And yet, I've rolled in the grass as a child. Played football in the rain, snow, and on the most gorgeous of days. I've climbed trees for as far back as I can remember (and I was even up about twenty feet just last weekend trimming one!) and yet now, within the past week -- I'm suddenly allergic to the insane levels of ragweed there are in the area.

The results of the Washington Post/ABC News poll are a reversal of what voters said at the start of Obama's presidency 18 months ago when about 60 percent expressed confidence in his decision making.
Confidence in Obama is at a new low but the poll found that his numbers are still higher than lawmakers of either major party four months ahead of the November congressional elections.
Asked how much confidence they have in Obama to make the right decisions for the country's future, 58 percent of respondents said "just some" or "none."
Sixty-eight percent expressed the same sentiments about Democrats in Congress and 72 percent said the same of Republicans.
The Post said problems in the housing industry, sluggish job growth and other economic issues may have taken a toll on Obama's approval rating.
Just 43 percent of all Americans, including a third of Democrats, now say they approve of the job Obama is doing on the economy, while 54 percent disapprove.

MARVEL's bullshit: No Nortan for 'Avengers'

According to this article, it basically says that Marvel's corporate is full of douche bags and probably didn't want to pay the man some money to play his role. Now, Marvel makes more bad decisions than good -- but I love Eric Bana as an actor, but I think he did a terrible job in the first HULK -- HOWEVER, I think the screen play for him was equally terrible, which means he's just poorly portrayed -- bad kudos in his direction, but The Time Traveler's Wife and Troy were both excellent movies that he did great in. <3

Edward Nortan -- awesome actor. Nortan, EPIC HULK. Without him in the Avenger's movie, I think it'll be pathetic. Ridiculous at best. It'll flop harder than X-Men Origins and that stupid Deadpool shit they pulled. Downey Jr is awesome, but I don't think he can pull it off alone.

I might not agree with how he's running the country, but this is actually a really good article into seeing how the President is still just another guy, who enjoys some athletics and some bro-mance. It's a fascinating insight into Mr. Reggie Love's (body man and pro-assistant) interactions with the Boss Man and how ... they're just dudes. Lol.

I really don't know what to say, but just to read the two-page article and comment if you'd like -- someone has to be reading this, because my counter went up nearly 150 hits, and I was out of the country, lol.

Well -- sine someone is pushin' me to throw this up and I did say I would -- here we go.

The overall of Avatar is simple: There's 4 Nations; Fire, Water, Wind, Earth. And one figure balances all of them out, however (no spoilers), something goes wrong and the Avatar vanishes, not to be seen for 100 years, in which the Fire Nation builds up and does a Run-and-Gun on all the other nations, pwning them -- essentially.

So. With that said, this is one movie -- out of four; this was Water.

How was it?
In my honest opinon, it was ~average~. It was nothing to write home about, however it WAS better than Signs. Lolol. Then again, The Gladiatoress was better than Signs, so I guess that doesn't mean much, now does it. Lol.

It was decent. The sound and music was good, seamless and it fit. The CGI or graphics were awesome, but a little wishy-washy at times with some of the over-used elements.

The shittiest part of the movie -- BAM -- the Acting. Lol, kinda -- the thing that MAKES MOVIES.

1. The white kid who played the Avatar, wasn't that great. Kinda crappy, choppy kata, and RANDOM excitement in his voice; WTF?!

2. The douche bag guy -- the brother to the water chick -- the same tool that sucks at acting in Twilight, like he has a stick in his ass the entire movie -- Jasper or whatever his name is -- he sucked so badly in the movie, I didn't even bother looking him up. He sucks. Bad.

All in all -- the movie gets a 2 / 5 -- the graphics and cool storyline saved M. Night's ass, big time -- because his actors frickin' KILLED it. -_- Acting 0.5 / 5, lol.

However -- MADD Props in Acting to one man: (I even looked him up) Shaun Toub.
I didn't realize this, but he's Yinsen -- the guy in the cave who helped Tony Stark in Iron Man.

He was phenomenal. I wish I had an Uncle like him -- and his power and role in the movie is ass-kicker. <3

So -- read this and tell me what you think, because I think this is some ridiculously insane control issue that will inevitably invade someone's privacy and right to their own vehicle.
Though I think that the people who blatantly blow red-lights are total douche bags, just because they don't want to wait for another two minutes -- in that same time, you blowing it and someone not paying attention could be death.

I think people should be ticketed for blowing red lights, but not FORCE-Stopped at them. That's insane, because how far back does this "sensor"/"laser" go? I can't imagine that it would go beyond two cars back, so if it forces those people to stop, when they think they would have had enough time to go, and they stop abruptly or even "slowly" -- what says they dimwit behind you wont slam into you because they thought they could make it too?

(PhysOrg.com) -- IBM has filed a patent application for a traffic light system that can remotely stop and start the engines of vehicles, with the aim of increasing fuel consumption efficiency at busy intersections.

The system would be able to receive position information from vehicles waiting at red lights to determine a queue of participating vehicles stopped at the signal. It would then determine the time still to elapse before the lights turn green, and if this time is over a set threshold (such as two minutes) the traffic light would then send signals to the vehicle engines to stop them.
When the lights turn green, a “start-engine notification” would be sent to the front vehicle to start its engine first, and a signal would be sent to the second vehicle in the queue an “optimal time” later, and so on.
The IBM patent says the system could be applied to traffic signals at intersections, railway crossings, or other transportation signals for “indicating correct moments to stop and to proceed.” Its stated aims are to reduce wastage of fuel and optimize the movement of vehicles through the intersection or crossing.
The patent states that with “increasing vehicle usage there may be more traffic and longer wait times at traffic signals,” resulting in wasted fuel if the vehicle engines are kept running. It acknowledges that most drivers do not turn off their vehicles’ engines in such situations, and that more fuel may be used in restarting the engine than in keeping it running if it is stopped for too short a time. The system would therefore take into account the time remaining before the signal changes to determine if the vehicle’s engine should be stopped.
The proposed traffic light system would gather data from traffic signal clocks, GPS data on vehicle positions, traffic load information (perhaps from weight sensors in the road), cameras, and/or “other data obtainable from sensors embedded at the intersections.” The communications system may use Wi-Fi technologies, a cellular network, or satellite communications.
In one proposed model the method would be made available as a “service” that vehicle drivers would need to sign up for. The stop/start-engine notifications could switch the engine off and on automatically, or they could trigger alerts to the driver to turn it off/on manually.
The idea is at the patent application stage, and the patent only covers the method but not the communications technology. Many patent applications never proceed any further, and only time will tell if this will be one of them.

This weekend "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," Jake Gyllenhaal's sword-and-sandal epic based on the popular video game, hits the big screen. Later this summer, another hotly anticipated blockbuster, "The Last Airbender," adapted from the hugely successful Nickelodeon cartoon series, is slated to open. Both movies have a strong fan base, feature jaw-dropping special effects along side good old-fashioned fight scenes, and both movies cast white actors for roles originally envisioned for people of color. And some are crying foul, calling casting decisions "insulting."

[Review] Role Playing Forums

Since I have a blog, it should be obvious that I love to write. I write daily -- I'd work to write, honestly. If the pay was good enough, I'd write all day long, in and out about whatever they asked me to write about and have a fun, awesome time doing it -- why? Because I'm pretty damn good at it, and that's not from my own arrogance or pride, but from a 4.0 grade and a compliment from a College Composition 2 teacher. Same with my Comp 1 teacher and the 4.0 I had in her class.

Point is -- people blog, but what about people who love to write stories? Stories about fantasy, modern, medieval -- stories about love, loss, combat, war, you-name-it. Most people would call this simply writing, but we call it Role Play (RP). Gathering together with a lot of people, typically friends old and new, and just exploring a world of written text and using pictures to frame the mindset off the great artists from DeviantArt.com.

Role Play sites seem to be a dime a dozen. Old and new, In and Out, and each one varies from the next by either rules, flame-wars, content, or genre-specific. So I'll be making a small list of one's that I know about, or have heard about and relaying them to you all for a quick read / scan and so that if you like to write too, you can hook up with one of these sites and get-down-with-your-bad-self.

Info: Eesh -- what to say about Ayenee. It claims an undisputed title of being the first role playing forum on the web, having spawned from A&E User Rooms in Yahoo! Chat, back in 2000. As to the truth of this, I don't really know, but I know they stole the idea, and didn't start "Ayenee" at all.
The over-all feeling [as a Rper] of being in Ayenee is ... "ew." The role play is decent, and some of their writers are excellent, but the amount of terrible writers or 'immature twits' outweighs the good. They can't cope with people writing in their threads, and not abiding by what THEY want -- they try [poorly] to control the human element of each individual character.
Rob is also a knucklehead who doesn't look before he leaps and has battered the member-base of Ayenee several times with stupid decisions and poor choices.

Info: I've RPed twice on this forum and it's not a bad place to be -- but not good for beginners who are nervous about large crowds. RPGateway is huge -- much bigger than Ayenee, Valucre, and Dystopia combine, I believe -- but they're rather good about building relationship and training their beginners very well.
They don't have a lot of trouble on the site, when I was on -- but it's hard to find people who aren't already involved elsewhere to write with.
They also have excellent competitions that are hundreds of people large and their tournament scales are awesome, very official and very precise. A good place to write and fight, if that's what you're into.

I can safely say that I barely (and I mean barely), follow American Idol. My sisters and parents watch it religiously, so I only see bits and pieces of it when I'm over there. I actually enjoy watching and laughing through the beginning half and then saying screw it to the end half, because the people left are all decent, but never the one's I would pick to continue on. Mle, boring. Season 9 was kind of a bore. (quoth the Simon, Nevermore)

Crystal, Lee, Casey, and Mike are left right now. And no -- I didn't see the duets, lol. Didn't have to.

HOW -- the hell has Mike made it this far? Seriously?
Sioban (or however the hell it's spelled) was infinitely better than him.

Iron Man 2 & Batman: The Dark Knight: RECAST!

Alright, so you all know that Terrance Howard was replaced by Don Cheadle, between Iron Man 1 and Iron Man 2. Now, I am NEVER a fan of switching actors between movies, because I think it's total shit and really tacky.
The actors get into the roles and try hard to-do-so (Lol, Xtan Bale) -- but seriously, it's infinitely harder for me to sit in a movie, knowing that the pre-quel to this film was played with another actor in place. It pisses me off.

HOWEVER --

That hasn't been the case with Iron Man 2. It took months for Marvel Studios to lock in director Jon Favreau for the sequel. And reports that Don Cheadle will replace Terrence Howard as Col. Jim Rhodes — a supporting character who seemed poised for a big role in the follow-up after he muttered ''Next time, baby'' to Iron Man's steel suit — hint that IM2 isn't quite as infallible as the superhero at its center.
Hollywood insiders believe the exit stems from Terrence Howard's difficult behavior on the set of Iron Man. But those with intimate knowledge of the situation suggest a far more dramatic backstory: Howard was the first actor signed to the film and, on top of that, was the highest-paid. That's right: more than Gwyneth Paltrow. More than Jeff Bridges. More than Robert Downey Jr. And once the project fully came together, it was too late to renegotiate his deal. I've grown into the man I am because of my family, my friends, my influences throughout life and the life I have led, as well as my opinionated, irritating, and argumentative-self. I don't ever take 'No' for an answer, because of judgments, thoughts, or questioning what the 'No' really means or pertains to.

I've grown up always helping out the under-dog. I see him/her, I think to myself -- they need my help, and I help. I jumped a lady's car, IN her garage a few days ago -- because she needed help. I don't shop at Wal-Mart, if I can ever help it, because I don't believe in that industry. I don't like that such a beastly company can kill and oust other companies without any regards. Corporate / Hostile take-over is not good business practice and says a LOT about character and company.

I've never liked Nike. Never. Some of their stuff lately is good, but I've always been more of a fan for ADIDAS. Why? Because people like Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods push for Nike, and if they didn't or hadn't, the other companies that are still excellent, might have gotten more air-time and thus been a little successful. Maybe this is also me bitching about capitalism, and it's ugly face -- but I just don't like the way that works, and because of that -- the will never receive my business.

When Microsoft launched, I respected Bill Gates for his achievements, but hated / hate his products. The company pumps out more garbage that is electronically or virtually harassing to all systems, in order to prevent their own losses, but really -- how many people pirate Operating Systems? Enough to throw up a dozen-and-a-half fail safes to make everyone's life miserable? What are the profit margins of wasting your time making useless patches and closing doors that NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN LEFT OPEN?

How much of that is spent monkeying around and outsourcing all of your code to pay less, and kill our economy in the process because you're greedy -- and yet you STILL screw with your customer base because of a slim margin of hackers.

I didn't buy or recommend the first X-Box to anyone, simply because I thought it was a joke-of-a-product. I worked for a Game Company and basically laughed and re-evaluated the X-Box system from Microsoft in nearly all of my customers eyes.

Mom's and Dad's will believe anything and explaining to them that:

1.) A First-Gen model that burns people/carpet/kids/anything it's on is a hazard.
2.) That MicroSoft is throwing money at the system to launch into a market that was dominated by Sony and Nintendo.
3.) The players for the game and the developers are so behind on titles, it's not worth getting right now.

However, these were my safety nets -- my thoughts and the way I live a lot of the time. Reading up on products and listening to people discuss about them, I accumulate ideas after digging a little more myself to really find out that some things are actually ... okay now.

My Re-Stated Placements:

I actually purchased the X-Box 360, because I was a safe-net Sony Boy for a REALLY long time. From PS to PS2, I've been with them, however when they lost the monopoly on Square Enix products, I reevaluated. When their game titles began sucking and I noticed that the 360 was a better off choice, I switched... reluctantly. My dad still makes fun of me for it sometimes.

Wal-Mart still is a horrible, child-laboring organization.

Nike still supports polygamy. Pitiful Humans. Or male prostitution, whichever Tiger pleads to first, Lol.

So that's still a big no-no in my book.

(However, yes -- he's only human and thrust into the limelight. He's allowed to make mistakes, but ... like 9 women? 13? Really? What would your father say? Grandfather? I'd be severely disappointed.)

Wow. Just, lol. I watched about ... half of the movie, not even before I turned it off with one thing to safely say:

I've seen porno's with better acting than this movie.

I mean, the girl from the Disney channel is a werewolf? And an ugly, cheesy, terribly-acted one at that? WHO KNEW!?
The only thing I'm really sad about in this film, (minus just wasting 45 minutes) is the guy who plays Mani, in Brotherhood of the Wolf, and he's also in a lot of SyFy movies -- the kinda Native American looking guy who looks like he could pass for a Latino, also?? Lol. He's in it -- and just as bad as everyone else.

A cast of washed up actors -- or just bad ones -- or just unknowns.

Terrible graphics. If you can even call them that.
Awful make up. Like -- really?! Since when was 2,000 dollars a legit budget for a movie?

MINI's new concept roadster has me stirred. I'll be paying my car off by the end of this year, hopefully if everything goes according to plan and I'm ready to do so. I think my fiances will pick up by the end of this year and I'll then start saving back (once my car payment is finished) for my next ride.

No more car loans for me. Hell no. So, I'll save back like if I had a car payment -- hopefully $300-400 a month, until I have enough money that I can trade my current ride in for something sexy like this.

I've been looking around at other cars, but I'll not taint this post, seeing as I made it specifically for this beautiful car that MINI has thought up. It's excellent! Great gas mileage, sporty, sexy, fast, and it has a lot of really awesome features -- if they maintain from what I've been reading about them.

Some quick stats:

1.6 L, supercharged
177 lbs of torque
Optional convertible coupe
Overboost Function for 192 lbs of torque.

Overall, it's dead sexy and I'd definitely buy one if the price is right. Hopefully they sit around 25k, but I haven't seen anything of the pricing on them yet.

If you couldn't tell just by this blog alone, I do actually write a lot. I have three blogs currently, but two of them are for when I "feel" like writing about a certain subject or matter. And then I use this one as a primary for updates, rants, raves, hates, despises -- and the like, just to make you all laugh, cry, smile, go "WTF??" -- which is really my goal for this entire thing.

Our home for the past year or two to us "role players." We write fictional stories about everything, and most of our stuff is epic enough to make crazy movies out of. We've got some fantastic writers and I wouldn't be lying if I said there's a combine effort of nearly ... 150 years of writing for the site? Each of us has been writing for nearly 10 years, and there's more than 10 of us who do so.
And you also get those crazy-ass zealots like me, who've been doing this since I was eleven -- that means, I'm really old? Lol. No, no -- like 14 years of writing. <3

Anyways, it has a new face, now that they've jumped from PHPBB3 to vBulletin, which is way more powerful ... AND sexy. So, more power to them! ;]

So the movie will go into more detail than I will, but it's basically an account of one of Zues' love-children with a human woman, which we all know happened quite frequently. And basically this child - go figure, is emo and "unwanted."
So he's raised by humans, who weren't the biological fix and da-da-da ... he becomes pissed when mommie and daddie die, because Hades is a pimp and rocks them like the newbs they are. Lol. So this sends the never-wielding-a-sword fisherman into a soon-to-be gorgon killing, God-killing, Kraken-killing son-of-a-Zues into a pissed off range. L-O-L. RLY? RLY.

Special effects were beautiful. Cool. Awesome. Save for Zues' gaiz0r armor.

Sound was absolute shit in the theater we were in. WestGlen 18 had blown speakers in the theater and it cracked the entire damn time. So angry.

Nice to see that Worthington kid is getting a little better at acting, but this movie strangly resembled Terminator (4): Salvation. The whole "Omg-I'm MAN! I R DU DIS FER MEN!" feeling that he tried to pull being half-and-half Human/Terminator.

Liam Neeson -- Zues? Terrible fit. Fake looking beard and TERRRRRRRIBLE armor. How Pathetically LAME was his armor? Hooooly Crap!? I loved Liam in Taken, but this wasn't his thing.

I Love, Love, Love Mads Mikkelson. I like his style and the presence he brings to the screen. He's a beast and so natural. A stud I'd love to meet and have a drink with. Oyie, what a bad-ass.

So - where to begin, right?

Throughout my entire life, I've been raised by the church (somewhat) and by parents who are great, wonderful people and basing their lives around the meaning of Christ and his children -- the reasons we're on this planet and how to love humanity and show them how God's love can reflect. It's not the religion people see -- the so-called "Christians" and "Catholics" of the 21st Century.

So I decided to blog about it, knowing that my opinion will be floating around cyberspace and hopefully teach people about the love of a real God, versus the fear and money the Church of the States pushes. Knowing that very few people read or care about this -- it's still an important topic and oddly enough, will be immortalized by the internet as I type each word outright.

Church is about fellowship. It's about coming together to grow in friendship and understanding of the God of Abraham. It's about learning and teaching, it's about serving and bowing to each other in compassion and grace, that we may show how God loves us and loves everyone REGARDLESS of their economic status, sexual preference, or income. I'm poor as shit, and my God still loves me unconditionally. Knowing that I'm a sinner and that I cuss, that I do everything wrong all the time, and still bow at his throne and ask for forgiveness for being only human.

He. Still. Loves. Me.

Even though I lie, I'm a terrible person, a shoddy "husband", a crappy son -- all of these things, and this King of Kings still enjoys my company and life. This is a God that I want everyone to know -- not the one that condemns you for being YOU, not the one that says you'll burn in hell for being a homosexual, because that's total bullshit, and certainly not the one that says if you're starving and hungry -- but you didn't tithe, you're going down in flames too.

America and it's church is plagued by fear. Fear of men. Fear of the unknown. And fear of dying. Death and Hell, is your fear in this world and it shouldn't be. My God will save you, will love you and keep you in good standing as long as -- you read for this? Your "catch" -- You must love him and talk to him daily. You must serve those around you and understand that -- without your material possessions, you're FREE. Free to be, to do. Not bound by fear, not bound by material. You're free to serve to your hearts content and to bring friends, family, and people to meet your God and express how amazing your life and relationship is with him.

Christians are all about money these days. Material. Bigger churches. All for show -- when God's people meet whenever, wherever they can. Coffeehouses, homes, small studios, whatever and just fellowship.

Catholics have been taking a sick-beating these days lately. Child molestation is grounds for a 12 guage shotgun to the face, in my opinion. Castrate them, kill them, just get them out of my sight... Pigs. Worthless, damned souls. Only by the grace of God, will they be saved -- because I'd burn them down where they stand.
As you can see -- I'm NOT God. His mercy and grace is far beyond my own human anger and disgust for these pitiful sacks of human flesh.

The Catholics are about organization. Stand up, Sit down, Kneel, and Say What I Say. It's not a relationship, it's a Christ-like Military Organization. Drones for Christ? Since when did he ever want that?

All the others, the Lutherans, the Assemblies of God, the Southern Baptists, the Penacostals, etc . . .

Why?

Because one believes that baptisim should be full submersion versus sprinkling? REALLY?!

WHAT WOULD GOD SAY IF HE WALKED IN TODAY AND LOOKED AT YOUR CHURCH.
- What if your God came in and looked at your finances.
- The way your Children's Program is run. (or not run)
- What do you think he'd even say?!

Why is it that there are five churches on one block - all saying and doing the same thing, but 1 tiny thing is different. Like how the offering is taken, or when to do the communion. Really? Oyie...

I'm not going to write much on this, because it's just an LOL-Factor for me.

Sparkly vampires have ruined vampirism for many, however I must say just this one thing: New Moon was INFINITELY better than the first movie. Which was retarded+god-awful. And that's really hard to do.

The transitions were better from realism to animation and CGI, however still bad with the vampires. The film is also incredibly emo. Likewhoa.

All in all, I was happier with the fact that it didn't absolutely and royally suck, just absolutely sucked. ;_; Lol.

As one might know (having read this before and knowing my minor hatred for Kansas), we live ... in Kansas. No shit, right? So we're sitting in Nashville International Airport today (explained later) in a massive layover and watching the Kansas University vs Iowa game in Gibson Restaurant and we watch them come down to the wire and lose. L - O - L.

The arrogance of the team and their attitude toward the game they play, I consider deserving of how the #1 spot got knocked hard by a #9 slot. Beat them by a few points also, I might add -- which is difficult because KU is an outstanding team and they just threw it away.

Arrogance: They know they're good. Too good. And they also know that they don't give two-craps because recruiters for the NBA have already looked in their direction. But why use that as an excuse to play to any lesser of your abilities and just "EXPECT" the other team to roll over and let you take the game because you're "JUST SOOOO GOOD!"

They got what was coming to them. Likewhoa.

Now if I was an NBA recruiter and I watched the way these boys play for NO money, and the lack of integrity for the game, their opponents, the team -- the lacking loyalty to the coach, the FANS, the School -- why in the H E L L would I want to even LOOK at them, aside from talent?

A player that will not play for the team, isn't worth anything. One man doesn't make up the team unless your hands are LeBron James' hands -- and they're SilverBack sized (something like 30% larger than the average male hand). And even he doesn't play the game alone.

My fiancee, Wife-to-be, Love-of-my-little-life, Sarah -- has officially packed ALL of her stuff ~~(minus a pair of dress shoes and a pack of tampons)~~, into her little duffel bag for the trip, while I laughed -- taking the bigger duffel because I had to pack my pimp-suit. (Pictures in due time.)

I'm proud of her ~~(even though I packed her bag, because she sucks at packing)~~!

So -- where are you going, you ask! A many a places, I should say, however -- we're going on a cruise! Long-story-short, Sarah's younger brother James is graduating high school -- and their parents give them a fun little trip when they've completed. They all went to the Virgin Islands for Sarah's graduation trip, and now I'm apart of James' trip. <3 Joyous!

A little nervous due to her family and myself going on the trip -- in the middle of a VERY large body of water, while her mother absolutely hates/is terrified/loathes/thinks-of-dying-and-associates-it-to water. That's right. We're going on A CRUISE -- IN THE CARIBBEAN -- and she HATES water. Ohshit is right.

My other fear is -- and she knows this, so I'm gunna be nice, but she can be very controlling and over-bearing at times, and I'm worried that with her water-anxiety that it'll explode into FULL ON MANIA! Hopefully she doesn't go manic. I think they's sedate her and pitch her off the boat in her own little personal flotation device. Like a crazy being strung along by a cruise vessel. Lol.

Valentine's Day --- 3.5 / 5 Broken Hearts

I would say that it was a decent movie overall, but the truth is -- with all of the actors that presented themselves in this film and for everyone's parts that pushed the storyline along, it was really strung out and I think I would have expected more -- if I hadn't expected anything at all.

The movie has something like fifteen different, "BIG NAME" actors in it -- from Queen Latifa to Julia Roberts. An excellent, All-Star cast and rather funny at times, but the movie definitely has you leaving the theater with the feeling of sadness or regret. There's a lot of difficult issues the movie touches, but at the same time, it's slow and slightly boring at times.

I was actually nudged by my better half during the film because I was texting -- knowing that I wouldn't miss anything important or big in the movie. That's bad. Lol. That's very bad -- for the director and actors.

Overall -- I can't say anything because I don't want to spoil anything. There are two MAJOR turns that the movie took near the end that made me happy, because I didn't see them coming or expect them, so it was a good surprise, and I love some of the elements they added to the movie to give you a good laugh.

I love Julia Roberts. She's SO DAMN GENUINE. She looks like someone I would want to just go get coffee with and hang out, because she's so REAL. SO FUN! Gah! I love her. Excellent role, well played -- though I did see some "lols" about her Military "experience" that I didn't buy, having been through Basic Training and growing up on military bases, so knowing the lingo and the Officer roles. Obviously, she doesn't hang out with people like me for ... obvious reasons. I don't act, I don't have money, and ... well ... I don't live in Hollywood? Lol.

I love Bradley Cooper. Another Real Actor. Genuinely nice, and it comes off as personable.

Eric Dane, Hector Elizondo, Patrick Dempsey -- all good actors that I admire. Dempsey's part in the film made me a little Sad Panda, but he's always good. I LOVE Hector! He's such a cute old man. <3 And Dane just puts off the bad-ass vibe. I think he'd be a really good Bond, or a better military persona.

So. Winter in Kansas City was frigid this year. Dunno how the frak Global Warming is even still followed by any of these morons who thinks Al Gore is half-way intelligent. Statistics show that the Earth over the past few hundred years has actually decreased in temperature.

Science also excluded the 1400s and 1500s, I believe, because they didn't fit the Global Warming model.

So K.C. unthawed and the money did too, and it's flowing abundantly. So much so, that at work, we're actually sitting 2 1/2 to 3 weeks out to get counters installed. That hasn't happened since Oct 09 - Dec 09. Apparently the money is good and tax returns are still making people delusionally happy.

Car Washes! WHAT THEY DON'T WARN YOU ABOUT!!

So -- today was crazy-full of running around and driving all over the place. So I hit up my first estimate here in Kansas City for granite counter tops with a contractor of mine. Cool guy and really slick project with a bar top in a basement.

So, then to mom and dads -- lunch is served and I chow down and then drive to Fritz' after having picked up Sarah from the parental units place. Long odd story, but she was there and car-less. Upon arriving at Fritz', Sarah jumps out and goes to give my little sister, Beth, her purse that she'd forgotten.

Now we're off to the BP station to fill up the car with gas, because my car is low. So. They don't have Silver or Plus grade and I'm unhappy, but low enough on the gauge to settle with the Regular grade. I buy a Car wash because it's 50 outside today and really nice -- not to mention my car looks like a snowman shit all over it.

So, la-de-da -- the car wash takes forever in the BP. And it's a grunge-fest of a place; a nasty little hovel of a room with water flowing out of the walls it seems and grime on every inch of once-white cinder block. It looked like it was a cave in the makings from some broke-down, half-assed, hick movie -- we would have died inside of it, had it been in West Virginia, let's put it that way. =/

So. The door opens and the drier timer starts. Did you get that?

The door. It starts OPENING -- and the drier timer starts. We're still inside. Waiting for the damn door to open.
And the timer is counting down to the drier's end. Oblivion!

So, the door opens -- we get NO drier time and drive out. My car looks beautiful as can be, but it's now still soaking wet. We pull out, round the corner and pull onto the street. In the left turn lane we wait, in the right hand lane. Two lanes. No one off to my right, and we'll be pulling onto a three-lane street.

THANKFULLY, no one decided to turn right like those morons always do when they think they have enough time, but don't. The jack-asses. Light turns green, I'm first in the right hand lane and I accelerate to turn the corner. I'm barely going 25 miles per hour in BROAD DAY LIGHT with BLUE SKIES and NO RAIN / SNOW anywhere in sight on DRY ASPHALT and I fish tail. BADLY.

I turn and apparently the soap on my rear tires is slick enough to slowly start to creep up on my right side and I pull some bad-ass drifting technique around the corner, leaving the cars behind me to freak out and veer into the far right or left lanes and slow back to avoid my "apparently insane driving". I spin the wheel, knowing full well how to race and drive my lovely car and pull out of our insane drift like it was nothing, leaving the people and Sarah terrified all around me.

Mwuhahahah...

They don't warn you about that kinda shit though. Soapy tires are apparently a REALLY bad thing. Lol.

Earth: 10s of 100s of years or Millions?

I'm sittin here at work once again and it's a calm day, which is good to get a bunch of work done. I haven't been posting lately because I've been absolutely mugged at work -- totally swamped with all that has been going on. Apparently the money in Kansas City unthawed and because of this, work has been booming.

But apparently this isn't the only thing that has been unthawed! Scientists found a perfectly preserved and intact (supposedly) baby wooly mammoth. They speculate that it's 10,000 years old. This 10k note to me, seems rather biblical than evolutionary for the simple thought that if Jesus was roughly 33 when he died, and it's 2010 right now -- then annō Dominī (A.D. - The Year of Our Lord), but B.C. is Before Christ -- so ... Jesus was around about 2100 years ago? Or something?

Jurassic Park, anyone --? The male frogs turned female "somehow" when there seemed to be no suitable mates or other gender to the species.

It's an anaconda. Big deal. I'm more fascinated by the chunk of pleasosaur they found off the coast of New Jersey or something -- because if it was preserved just by cold water, there's no WAY it could be over a million years old. That's just bent-retardation on sciences part. We're not stupid. We catch onto things you say and your idiocy doesn't add up.

The Boredom STRIKES BACK!

... no, not really.

It's just a typical day and I'm actually posting from the work computer because there literally isn't anything else to do. I typed up a Mechanics Lien for one of our ... negligent customers and now that, that is finished -- I have nothing else! Typically, I'm out on estimates or doing other things outside of the office, but today -- this week, actually -- my boss has taken on a TON of estimates and then just simply says that they're his customers.

I don't really buy that, because one of them is my customers' fiance and his new house, since I'd already done hers. But -- oh well. Such is life, right? Or rather -- just a typical boss.

So now I'm just chillin' out - doing nothing, but blogging and I think Mix 93.3 is on the radio -- playing their usual redundant crap. Ugh. Why can't radio stations just play diverse music? That's the reason KISS 99.7 has taken over the air waves here in Kansas City -- they're diverse in their music. Sometimes the disgust me enough by playing Country Music, even!! How horrible is that -- without warning. Gawh -- you'd think they wanted me to wreck and die on the highway with a horrid surprise like that. Rofl.

So I've steadily transitioned from work to good/bad radio stations, which I think is where I'll end this and start another post to pick up a totally different topic all together. Lol.

Well, about a year and a half ago, Facebook launched this thing called People You May Know and me ... being me, decided that it would be rather hysterical to start adding those people to my Facebook, because -- I should know them, right?!

So, I began this epic quest to start adding more and more people. The more I added, the more I had to chose from. A's friends with D -- and I'm friends with A and D, and they have friends between them -- BAM, they're now ALL my friends too! Hypothetically Facebookically speaking, of course...

Then Sarah and I were talking and I came to the conclusion that when I turn 36, I'll run for president! How fun would that be to run for president! Then I thought, well wait... I'll start my Facebook Campaign NOW! So that way, in eleven years! I'll HAVE to have the Presidency in the Bag!! How NOVEL! Ha!

Not to mention, I wont be some old fart who has their own agenda -- I'll actually listen to the people. Decipher the stupidity and bad ideas, and give America what they want!

I've been talking with my Soon-To-Be Secretary of Treasury, Danielle K. Horn -- and I think we have devised a plan or a way to bring humanity back to the peak, and stop all this boredom in life and the cryin'-shame depression that is plaguing our nation. We're calling it the Life Plan.

It's still under examination and construction, but the Plan will entail LIFE POINTS or Achievements -- something more for people to live towards. The average gamer LOVES to get achievements for the games they play -- it's like notary or recognition for their doings. Well, why cant we establish some working form of Life Achievements, without making it some HUGE deal and only one person in all of the US can obtain it?

Things like getting married and STAYING married, should be a goal! Not a necessity or ... Mle -- just have to do it.
Things like cleaning up our environment and maintaining that trash should be picked up -- cleaned up off the side of the roads. Why shouldn't they be?!
These jobs aren't JUST for the city -- but HUMANITY. For US!

So -- to applaud the achievements of men [figurative, you silly feminists] (AND WOMEN), we'd offer raises or monetary values. Prize-like items for being excited.

And people then ask -- WHERE is this money coming from?

Well - There wouldn't be income tax anymore in my presidency. It's a waste and it's moronic.
There's 37 BILLION dollars being pumped into Prisons and Jails. We shouldn't be giving them a Damned-Resort -- so there's some change there to spare.

Upgrading the US Defenses and keeping out troops off of foreign soil, UNLESS we're screwed with -- not this whole HEY Let's sit on our thumbs in 32 countries across the world. Keep our families home, if they want to be home. So less war expenditures. More money there.

We could easily have this nation turned around with REAL effort, not moronic Trillion Dollar Failed "Stimulus" plans. That's retarded. WAY to Nail our debt to our forehead, Obama. /claps/

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

What a GREAT movie!

That'll be the major tagline of the movie, but all around -- this movie was excellent! Tons of fun. The acting was a hair on the odd/shy side of awkward, however -- being a first and major role for the kids, I think they did a really damn-good job.

Way better than the first Harry Potter's actors or the Chronicles of Narnia (which was/is a joke).

I loved Uma Thurman as Medusa, excellent touch.
I love Kevin McKidd as an actor. He seems so genuine and personable. I'd love to actually meet him some day, just to meet him and talk about anything. He seems like someone you'd want to do that with.
I'm not a huge fan of Pierce Brosnan, but being a Bond front-man and a ... well [spoiler] Lol... He well-enough made up for some of his tasteless acting and wanna-be suave persona. Maybe women buy that crap, but ... lol.

The movie progression was good. The acting was pretty good. The storyline was fun and made sense to me, as a viewer -- but I've read the Harry Potter books and I saw how they massacred the movies ...

Three words: DON'T SEE IT.

1. Clichè -- Typical obvious movie made by a moronic Hollywood. Leave it to Universal Studios to TOTALLY botch something that could have been amazingly bad-ass.

2. Dialog -- It was written by an illiterate five year old. Probably should be shot for it...

3. Terrible Animation -- I mean, really? With a company like UniStudios and NBC (regardless of shitty-ass ratings and a fail-network), you'd think they might have SOMEONE competent in their regime? ... wasn't it NBC that let Conan O'Brien go?

Yeah -- Guess they are morons. Nevermind.

Marvel VS DC: FITE!!

Well, the word on the street is the next installment to Batman is being written, which sends DC to the forefront of the jittery excitement for some, but without Heath Ledger, I fear that the Batman has lost his ONE-TRUE Nemesis. He can never catch him, or when he does, it fails. But now that the best Batman in history is gone -- history ... is ... gone ... I don't think anyone can ever try to step into that role again.

But here's my personal thought, and it has nothing to do with who is better than who, but I don't think that actors should play any different roles. Like Jennifer Garner is tough-shit-DEAD because of the Elektra movie-failure, but I also think that if they replay her as another character -- I'll be like WTF, SHE'S ELEKTRA! AND DEAD!

However, they're trying to pull a Deadpool -- which I'll be severely pissed about because Ryan Reynolds is supposed to be Deadpool -- but I think he's also being casted as the Green Lantern? Maybe this is just rumor, but why are we only using one actor for several parts? That's ridiculous.

Robert Downey Jr. is ONLY Iron Man.
Sadly, Ben Affleck is only Daredevil. A joke, but eh...
TERRANCE HOWARD is my Rhodey, for Iron Man. I think Don Cheadle isn't going to fit the role.
Christian Bale is Batman. The man who went from acting everything, to being one boring character. Lol. Oyie.
Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool. Even though they totally eff'd his story up.
Hallie Berry is only Catwoman? Lol. But she's only Storm? FAIL. They can never be crossed.
Hugh Jackman is Wolverine. A bad-ass.
They changed out Sabertooth, so I dunno wtf that is.

My list goes on and on, but my point is this:

ONE ACTOR = ONE CHARACTER.

There's enough actors to go around and MORE than enough Characters.

The [Super] Bowl?

For those of you who didn't watch the game -- you didn't miss much. The Colts took off early in the game and it looked like it was going to be a Rick-Roll'D event, however -- when Manning and his boys rolled over and died in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Quarters -- it was just an LOL-fest.

I will say this -- The ONLY person who should have received an award for best played game was the Saints Kicker -- dude scored 9 points -- ALONE! Lolol. He was by far, the best player on the field for the Stupid Bowl. It was just a boring game, and a Nationally Ranked Quarterback, [Manning] threw an INTERCEPTION. How does this happen? Bah. Pressure or boredom, I can't tell which got to him first, but the game was a joke.

And the thing that made it worse, was that the S-Bowl commercials weren't nearly as funny as the past years were. I mean -- really? The Doritos commercial is getting hype; pretty funny, I'll say. And the Dodge Charger commercial was pretty good as well, but over-all, it was a major Snooze Fest.

This one is the one that really cracks me up -- not because of the content, but because AMERICA has decided to CALL OUT MEGAN FOX for an IMPERFECT THUMB!! LOL!!

Well, this is kinda like a recent update of news for me to let you know what's going on in the status quo. Lol. Not that you don't already know, but being in my head and getting these ideas and opinions that randomly formulate and then spawn into hysterical thought patterns that would make most psychiatrists cry like infants in the fetal position. So. ;)

Congratulations to AVATAR -- it seems that James Cameron, the "Christ-Like" of the Film Industry has SURPASSED the box-office crusher, Titanic by nearly 30 million! A man who can only beat his own records, is a formidable opponent.

"Avatar" earned $23.6 million in its eighth weekend, taking its total to $630.1 million. James Cameron's sci-fi blockbuster surpassed the $601 million haul of his 1997 release "Titanic" last Tuesday to become the biggest movie of all time in the United States and Canada.

Dear John is on it's way into theaters and knocked AVATAR from the top spot, but the first thing I heard about it was from a gay guy at Applebees, who said it was incredibly boring. Lol. Personally, the "heart-throb" Channler or whatever his name is, needs to stick with dancing. It's what he's bad-ass at.

Wolfman sounds like it's going to be awesome, and the two leads - Hopkins and Del Toro are going to make the film. Excellent actors and I'm totally pumped to go see it! <3

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief is going to be awesome, I hope. We're going to see it the day after Valentines Day. <3 Hopefully, the boy-crushes will allow the movie to go over smoothly and be full of awesomeness. The graphics and the trailer look like they're up to par, so we'll wait to see what's up!

The Price of Gas @ QT here in Kansas City, KS - for PLUS gas.

I don't buy anything less -- because for like 2 bucks more a tank/total, I can get 30-45 miles more.

My BIG Spend.

I put 25 bucks in, and got 9.731 gallons. My take would have taken 1 more gallon, but I wasn't about to tell the guy I wanted to put down twenty ... EIGHT dollars ... and 50 cents, to get what I needed precisely, lol -- this will do just fine.

So, I drove according to my Track Odometer, 251.5 miles. I put in from my last receipt, 10.2 gallons. If my math serves me correctly, that means I got about 24.656863 miles per gallon, lol.

Let me tell you this -- I bought my Neon in 2005, brand new off the lot with 9 miles on it. Nine. And when I started testing this theory of mine years ago, I never got above 22-23 miles per gallon out of my tank, because I was using Shell Gas as my Top Tier gasoline.

And now -- HA! 23.5 - 25 mpg and I'm only using QT, for the most part. Since I do a lot of estimates, if I'm out and about and HAVE to fill up, I will stop at a BP, because they're gas is 2nd on my list of Best Gasoline's To Purchase From!

Today went rather smoothly, mainly because I just worked on the company web-site all day long. With a lot of time and effort belched into this stupid site, I've managed to get up most of the pages and the content within them as well, so that they're functional for the public -- which is good and all, but I still have nearly 100 pictures to edit, crop, and fix tag up and then upload to the site... then change all of the in-site stuff to link to all the new pictures. What a nightmare.

Afterwards was dinner with Sarah's parents and then off to Table Top, which ended up being some fun. TT is a board/miniatures/dice shop that sells fun and inventive board games for all sorts of genres and on Thursday nights they have Game Night -- where all the cretins of Kansas City unite to game it up for one awesome night. Played three games, and I won one. Not a bad turn out, but some douche bag was there spectating and then commentating on each other players moves -- EVERY move. It was insanely irritating and I wanted to stuff him in a garbage compactor and crush him to itty-bitty-bits. Gahh...

We left from there and headed home. Grabbed some foodie to sustain my hunger, but not overwhelm or stuff me for the nightly run since I'm working on slimming and trimming up for the cruise in March -- and then remembered the conversation with Karl. Titan's Quest on Steam, the Gold Edition, is on sale for $4.99 for today only, as a MidWeek Madness sale! So -- I went to buy it...

Steam is down. For maintenance. And their help desk is down too.

Other than most American's blood pressure and weight levels, petrol as the Europeans and Canadians call it [gas] is also on the rise. As the media seems to portray, it is because of the "terrorists" and "insurgents" that are in the Middle Eastern countries of the world that are NO WHERE NEAR the United States, and this is why gas prices are rising.

So, let me ask you this. Why are we so dependent upon foreign oil that we wont even tap the most "probable and rumored" fattest oil reserves in the world -- Alaska. Because of the bears? Really? They seem to be doing just fine on the millions of acres the government has purchased all across northern America.

Because of the trees? Here's a little "GO GREEN" tid-bit for you; there are more trees per square acre in the United States than there were in the 1900s. Thousands more. Thank those awesome, yet "pesky" squirrels for having the memory span of a goldfish! Woo Woo! We'll all get to live and breath a few more decades.

Because of the POLAR BEARS? "Are you meaning to say that there isn't a dying polar bear crisis?" What a moron ... one of the only predators on the face of the planet that will HUNT a HUMAN for sport (essentially). Oh, wait -- we do that too...

Anyways -- Gasoline is on the rise for no real reason. These companies cut minor costs to make you feel like you're getting something or getting somewhere and then boost them during traffic seasons to rake in all that cash they missed out on. And the world cares about Ponzi Schemes... and who will be the next American Idol. Lol...
Not even the Federal Government can cap and slap the oil companies for sticking us so hard because it's out of their reach now. It's been let go for so long, they're raking in billions -- if not Trillions of dollars each year -- money you and I earned to get from job to home, from work to day care.

So.

Stick it to 'em where it hurts. Support only certain companies and leave the dent in their wallets.

I have two places that I will vouch for and ONLY two places that I go to buy my gasoline.
So now you're wondering -- Yo, Jeff -- you just Rick-Rolled the government and oil companies and now you've hand selected two? How so? On what grounds?

Simple. The Bang For Your Buck. You've seen it on HG TV and other places -- how to get the most for your money and I'm hear to let you know what I've got.

I live in Kansas City. More directly -- Overland Park, KS.

QuikTrip [QT] and BP are the ONLY TWO GAS COMPANIES I will EVER BUY FROM.

EVER.

And here's why -- I drive (pretty much) for a living. I do estimates all across Kansas and Missouri for counter tops and my span is about 1.5 hours from our current location, in Lenexa. So that means I'll drive 90 miles one-way, some days and that's the long ones -- not including the other two estimates I might have that day!

My car gets about 24 miles per gallon [mpg] on average and on the highway, I can get around 31-32 mpg. Not too bad, considering that it's an '05 and it's been a little abused, but never neglected! ;]

Phillips Gas - in the city, with Phillips I got 210 miles per tank [mpt]. CRAPPY!!
QT and BP -- I regularly get 240-250 mpt, in the city as well.
Shell Gas -- I get around 220-230 mpt, in the city.
Valero -- I think it was around 215 mpt, in the city.

It has to do with the levels of octane in the gas, I believe as well as the quality and treatments it receives. Apparently QuikTrip and BP just know how to get it done!

SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WELL.
Know what you're putting into your car. And how much you're getting out.
You'll be astonished to find out what you really can get. Trust me!

2012: The Movie

OMG, T3H SKY IS FALLING!?

"Ohhh Looordy..."

This is the phrase my grandmother would have used, God rest her soul, if she were still with us. She would have watched the movie and been totally captivated by the story and the idea, as well as the stunning graphics and much like the rest of "ignorant" America, she would have gone home with a sense of greatness, like we'll actually survive a world-wide tectonic shift... O, for the sake of American Hope and Happy Endings.

The movie's first major flaw was casting John Cusack. Now, I'm sure he's a great guy and all, but the ONE role that fits your ... very "talented," narrow window of acting ability ... wasn't this one. At all. John Cusack has the acting reach of a pee-wee tee ball kids swing. Once he's missed the ball and spun on his heel, he's preformed a perfect 360* and guess where he's back standing ... right where he was before. Don't get me wrong ... I mean, he's surely a talented actor, just not suited at all for the "end of the world and humanity" kinda movie.

So, he's dumb and he makes you laugh. So he gives Jason Statham a run for his money ... in a limo?! He plays the same guy, and that same guy is probably him ... not really even acting, but just being himself. Just like Keanu Reeves! *high hat*

Enough of Cusack ruining the film -- how's about that plastic surgeon in the movie -- the 'faceless' actor who can magically fly the biggest jet that Russia owns with a few measly lessons in flying a little one prop Cessna? Oh ... right, this is Hollywood. Not common sense. My bad.

Yeah ... if you couldn't tell, I didn't really care for this movie at all. Long, over-drawn out, and even Henry O couldn't turn this movie around for me, and I love him as an actor. So cute! Like Randall Duk Kim! Lolol. Henry O is the Asian gent that you see in all the previews who rings the gong atop the mountains before getting pwned by a massive freakin' wave.

Between Henry O, Woody Harrelson, Danny Glover (even though his lips seem to be failing him with his speech) and Oliver Platt -- nor the incredible graphics that were displayed in the film, none of these could have saved the movie for me, from John Cusack and the retardation of Hollywood-izing one of the scarier dates in history. Leave it to Hollywood to add a Happy Ending to the fuckin' Holocaust...

Denzel Washington plays an intense role that I personally loved. The character is extremely likeable and it feels a lot like Man on Fire.

The movie however, will get bad reviews -- I think, because of the simple fact that a LOT of the newspapers and critics are very Left Wing Liberals who wont attest to anything Christian related. And on this fact, they'll turn the movie down after seeing it, which is extremely depressing.

All in all, the movie was fantastic. Not a ton of blood and gore, not a ton of poor language, and a HUGE message -- in the end, we will turn back to God -- when the world is in shambles and we have declared a nuclear holocaust on one another. Excellent movie. Not very fast paced, so people will cry boredom because they've missed the message.

It's mellow. It's thoughtful. It's encouraging your thoughts. It's an excellent movie.

Ahem, with that said -- I don't really know where else to go from here. I haven't really played the game at all for any consoles, but the blatant stupidity of this film would be enough for me to never WANT to play the game. Ever. Like. Never ever. I mean -- it was a typical 80s cheesy movie, with poor acting and that guy from Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 & Yuri's Revenge ... the guy who ACTUALLY playes Yuri in the games -- he's the 'evil scientist'. Genetically "engineering" humans to obey commands and be super, but everyone always knows that goes wrong.

So the cliche dream dies hard. However -- I could see this as a good party movie. Get everyone liquored up, lots of tequila rounds and then have this LOLFEST playing in the background so that people can sit and laugh at how horrible it is -- I think you'd be a success.

I mean, come on --

He's wearing a button up hawaiian shirt and a tee shirt, and slacks -- but the water is SO COLD, that they could catch hypothermia? And that's their means to throw in a poorly designed sex scene -- in which case Sex isn't show, present, but "suggested". Lol?

Or the fact that they're playing I-SPY, while handcuffed together -- Him and the food delivery guy, while sitting in a hallway in the middle of nowhere. And manage to survive. While the mutants run wild. Lol. And why are they pale white? Lol. Genetically modifying people results in pigment loss. (Think Powder.)

Lol. Just a bad movie, all around.

¦----» So far, the stylus is really accurate, but on certain parts and in certain circumstances, it becomes really hard to pick things up, activate them, or find a place to use the item you created. If Maxwell (your character), is standing on something, then you usually have to move him to pick it up.
The camera angles are also a little difficult, because you use the stylus for nearly everything -- but the D-pad and buttons are used to 'move the screen' around.
I imagine the next time around, they'll get it a lot better -- but since this is the first innovative try on the game, it works for now.

¦----» Being that this is the DS and not like Prototype for the 360, the graphics are only as good as the system, but they're still awesome! I love the artistic impression that the game bring to the table, so that even if you're seventy, you'll love playing this game as much as a five or six year old.
The style of the art is very 'pencil-and-kid' drawn. Things are kinda sketched or built from some kinda paper and set into place. The environment moves and is interactive, cute sometimes.

¦----» You don't really notice the music much, because you're concentrating and thinking so much in the game, that it's stimulating your mind. You don't notice the calm and fun, bouncy music that's going on in the background. (Which you can buy tracks in the 'Ollar Shop.)

Well -- that's about to be seen.

In the top section, on the left side is how many 'Ollars this person has made. Ollars buy you new levels, avatars, music, and more.
The right top side, those stars are merits. What different skills and things you used during this round.
In the middle is the level 1, section 4.
Par 2 means -- this is how many items can be made (should be made), before you go over the limit of the level.

This, as you can see -- two things have been made.
He typed in Helicopter, and that was made -- and then rope. And the rope was tied to the bottom of the helicopter, to assist the lumberjack in "cutting" the tree down.

The Hint for this level is "Help the lumberjack do his job" -- and there's a sole tree in the middle. Lol.

South Carolina's Andre Bauer -- Under Fire! Lol.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – When things looked their darkest for Gov. Mark Sanford — when he was in danger of being impeached for running off to Argentina to see his mistress — his best insurance policy may well have been South Carolina's lieutenant governor, Andre Bauer.

This dude is awesome. I completely agree with this among other things that he says because I've worked with the low-class, unlike most of these politicians and I have heard the stories of a woman who said she exempted on her taxes 12, and she only had 2 kids! And then she said she also got food-stamps, a welfare check, and ... whatever that is WIP or something.

Point is -- we're paying people who make GREAT money, more than what they deserve because they're greedy and it's sinking this country because people have found a loophole to thump the system without repercussions. They're dependent upon a system that doesn't make them responsible for their intake and output of cash and they've learned they can get more than what they ask for -- simply because of skin color.

I personally think that is completely wrong. You cannot cry wolf at racism, and then PLAY the racist card when you need money from "the big, bad, white man." You get one or the other. By beating the system, you're only broadening the sterotype of not only yourself, but an entire race, but you're making it that much more apparent that segregation still exists because you WANT it to exist. You WANT to feed off the damn "hind tit" of the country, because you feel wronged about something that happened in your great grandparents time.
